Three-stage filtration rebuild
The original filter was half the size the pond needed. Correctly sized mechanical and biological stages, reworked plumbing and UV now keep the water clear without chemicals.
New koi introduced the right way
Quarantined fish acclimatised slowly and released by hand, so temperature and water chemistry never shock a new arrival into a settled collection.
Ongoing monthly maintenance
Fortnightly visits, water testing, pump servicing and seasonal feeding schedules — the owners simply enjoy the pond.
Netting for a health check
Fish lifted carefully into a padded holding bowl so gills, skin and fins can be checked properly before anything is treated.
Microscope work at the pond
A full mobile lab set up on site — mucus samples read under the microscope so treatment is based on what's actually there, not guesswork.
