Koi Care Plus started the way most koi obsessions do — with one pond, a lot of questions and very little good advice. Gert has spent more than two decades since then learning what actually keeps koi healthy on the Highveld, through freezing winters, summer storms and hard tap water.
Today we look after ponds all over Gauteng: from small garden features to large collections with imported Japanese koi. We fix filtration that was never sized correctly, get green water clear again, screen fish for parasites, and feed properly for the season.
We're not a call centre. When you phone, you speak to the person who will be standing at your pond.

Perfect Filtration
Crystal clear water is impossible without a perfectly working filtration system. We design, correct and service biological and mechanical filtration built for Highveld conditions.
Pond Maintenance
Serious issues are often not visible until it's too late. Regular health checks, water testing and pump servicing catch problems long before your koi do.
Balanced Diet
Koi grow faster and colour up more vibrantly on the correct nutrients for the weather and the season. We supply and schedule premium feed year-round.
